From apéritif to breakfast, ceramic bowls part of the Aboca Museum Collection are the right choice for countless occasions. A refined and original vessel to bring colour to your table.

Handmade in Italy, each piece is hand decorated with images taken from Pharmaceutish-Medicinische Botanik by Daniel Wagner (1800-1890) and from Hortus Amoenissimus by Franciscus de Geest (1638-1699).

Five different patterns are available:
- Pumpkin (Cucurbita pepo), with a yellow flower (from the Pharmaceutisch-Medicinische Botanik)
- Woody Nightshade (Solanum dulcamara), with blue and orange flowers (from the Pharmaceutisch-Medicinische Botanik)
- Mallow (Malva hortensis), with a pink flower (from Hortus Amoenissimus)
- Scarlet Pimpenel (Anagallis arvensis), with red flowers (from Hortus Amoenissimus)
- Columbine (Aquilegia), with pink flowers (from Hortus Amoenissimus).

The history of botany, with the popularisation of its most rare and precious aspects, has always been part of Aboca’s vision.
The Pharmaceutisch-Medicinische Botanik was printed in Vienna between 1828 and 1829 and includes delicate lithographs by Ignaz Stenzel, one of the most renowned botanical illustrators of the XIX century.
The Hortus Amoenissimus was painted by Franciscus de Geest at the end of the Seventeenth century. It contains more than two hundred illustrations of flowers and to this day it is surprising for the freshness of the colours and the grace of touch with which each species is depicted. The copy of the original manuscript, held at the Rome National Central Library, was curated and published by Aboca Edizioni.
