Disturbi del sonno nel bambino, dedicated to the most common sleep disorders in children and to the consequent discomforts during the day, provides a detailed account of the typical features of this problem. The aim is to favour an early detection and adequate diagnostic understanding.
Amongst the possible solutions aimed at solving or alleviating the disorder, particular attention is devoted to behavioural interventions and to the use of medicinal plants.
One of the strengths of this text is the very practical approach, which does not pretend to serve as a specialised treatise on sleep medicine. For this reason, it is not only aimed at paediatricians and doctors involved in primary care. It can indeed be of use also for all health professionals in the daily support of parents that are worried about the sleep disorders of their child.
